Early Prediction Time. We'll do several series of these before the season.

We've got champions in that locker room.

I have to assume you mean basketball, but in any case, I would always pick them 1st.

I say we finish a strong 3rd and have a great coming out party in the Garden!!

They will finish strong and dominate at the Gardens - but the season will be a big of a struggle early on. That would make it difficult to finish at the top but they will be in the top three or four. I picked second place...but if the league in general is not that strong next year, the Muskies might take it....but I doubt it.

So who (besides X) would be your favorite.

I'm guessing G'town.

always going to think we'll win it all, but the great thing about this new conference is that there is no shame in finishing third, or even 4th, and a team that finishes in those spots, and doesn't finish one or 2 in the conference tourney is not in danger of missing out on post season play.
XU raised the A-10 to nationwide respectability, our task ahead is to prove we belong, that will happen this season!

Georgetown and Creighton might actually be the favorites. But given some of the squads that are playing next year, I think XU has a fair chance to win the conference IF their bigs become more productive. With some maturity and growth from a couple of guys that could very well happen. Our back court should be in good shape next season.

The lack of scoring consistency amongst XU post players has been a real thorn towards defeating all levels of competition. Balanced scoring from front to back court will be of even greater importance in this league, as Christon continually trying to score isolation should prove more difficult.
