Prayers for my Mom (and Dad)

Say a prayer and a blessing for my Mother. She passed away in the last week.

My mother passed away, and we will say goodbye on Saturday.

I would not be alive today without such a loving woman. It may be a surprise to few here, but I was the black sheep of the family. But I did come to understand my parents and love them, and love them dearly.

My father has already past. Please keep them in your prayers.

I'll add your Mom to my prayer intentions at Mass this Sunday. I understand how tough these times can be for those of us left behind since I lost my Mom in 1991 and Dad in 2006. I'll also include you in my prayers, Snipe, since you probably need them more as one who has to cope with the loss of a loved one.

Today is a day of remembrance for me as well....The 20th anniversary of my Dad's sudden passing. We have a mass scheduled for him in his memory on Sunday. It was a blessing to spend this morning with my mother.

Prayers said. When it is all said and done, I don't know how much better it can get than having two loving parents get you started in this world. How much better the world would be if more children were so blessed. My mom and dad have both been gone for some time now and I miss them but our faith gives us the hope and belief that they are in a much better place free from the worries and travails of this world.
