What I love about that video is all the unsung heroes, for lack of a better term, you see. Everyone remembers how Lionel conducted The Run, but you're reminded of how amazing those teams were in addition to the big stars. Guys like Love, Doellman, Duncan, CJ, Lavender, BJ, Myles, etc. were all just as important in winning the games as Burrell, Crawford, Chalmers, and Holloway. We talk more about the impact the stars made, but they wouldn't have shone as bright without those other guys playing supporting roles.

I wish they had a little more game feed and less of the music. But I love seeing some of the stills like Byron, Tyrone and the Grey Ghost. It needs to be about ten minutes longer too.

Loved the clip of Stan Kimbrough scoring on Tommy Amaker in the old RCA Dome in 1987. Damn 26 years go. Even though X lost that game it was the tournament where Xavier won it's first NCAA tournament game against Missouri.

This is a lot of why I like XU so much. XU is what college basketball should be. Some studs on every team, but also some guys who develop over 4 years. Whether they develop into stars(Holloway, Derrick Brown) or solid role players who come up in big moments(BJ Raymond, Jason Love). I wish college basketball had a 3 yr rule like the NFL. The college game would be so much better. love being a fan of a program who has their guys for 3-4 years.
