Trey Burke doing a Tu Holloway 2nd half imitation.

In a span of about 5 seconds, the Kansas vs. Michigan game reminded me of '07 vs. ohio state with the missed front end of the 1-and-1 and the 2010 Crawford 3 vs. Kansas State in the first overtime

I was just gonna say..................finally another team (Kansas) has experienced a devastating loss like we have twice in the big dance (Kansas St., Ohio St.)

Yes. Deja vu.

Kansas fans must have a complex relationship with Self. Some great highs, but absurd, baffling losses.

Hail to the Victors!

Great game and great win by Michigan. I didn't think they could pull it out, but Trey Burke went into beast mode late and carried them.

I still think Butler owes Xavier a yearly fruit basket in March, at the very least, for tiring out Kansas State before their game in the next round. I also think La Salle owes X the same for making the sweet 16 this year, after mooching all that tournament credit money for years (I mean, it had to contribute to their wins in some way, right?).

The underdog builds up a double digit lead and then surrenders it before halftime. Shocker. Hope FGCU gets pissed and comes out strong and sustains it's attack. Florida has shown it can't win a close game.

Florida woke up, and FGCU can't keep the ball in the half court. They are fun to watch when they are running the floor though.

FGCU looks like they can't run a half court offense...hopefully they can speed it up

FGCU looks like a 15 seed. Still somehow only down 7. Probably because Florida isn't really that good.

Exactly. Against Florida, they cannot keep the ball in the half court. 9:30 left and something like 17 turnovers, their PG with 7 of them. Ouch.

I was wondering how this Comer kid ended up at FGCU. Now I know.

What a joke. TBS decides to go split screen and talk to Joakim Noah about beating the Heat in a 9 point game with 3:30 to play. That's just embarrassingly bad broadcasting. Like something you'd expect in an A-10 game.

Great kickout by Kansas at the end of overtime!!!!

Uhhh....yeah. Nice pass.

So, a team from Kansas made the Elite Eight, and that team is Wichita State.

I still think Davidson's meltdown was bigger and more frustrating and will sting longer, but Kansas's is definitely a close second. Both losses were the kinds of losses that can make a guy like Adam Morrison cry.

So I missed ArchieCam last night?

That was terrible. One of the worst pieces of TV coverage ever. Totally took away from the game action. I hope that Fox doesn't think it's a good idea.

All season long, and for most of the tournament, I've been saying that Wichita State had a better team last year than they did this year. Even after they beat Gonzaga I still felt that way. It's kind of hard to argue that now. Wichita does not handle pressure well, but Ohio State never pressured them. It was crazy.

I've also been saying for the last couple of weeks, or maybe it was the last couple of years, that I felt Duke was overvalued and that their defense was questionable at its best, and insufficient at its typical. Their defense has been nothing short of outstanding in this tournament.

It's my understanding that several Louisville players are sick. If Duke the kind of defense they've played in the last two games, a healthy Louisville team would have a hard time beating them. Duke may win it all. Having said that, I do think Wichita matches up against Duke a ton better than they match up against Louisville.

Florida is back in the Elite Eight. Their last two Elite Eight appearances have seen them blow double digit leads with less than five minutes to go. They're facing a Michigan team that just overcame a double digit deficit with less than five minutes to go. So, of Florida has what appears to be a comfortable lead with less than five minutes to go, don't change the channel.

Wichita State was DEFINITELY better last year than they are this year. They just choked in the Tournament last year. VanFleet and Baker are big differences from last year, though. Those kids are players. And they'll be at WSU for four years. Wow.

It is quite unfortunate that the tennis match was preempted for that shit show of a game we just saw.

Florida did not show up. I guess they were watching the tennis game.

As good a match as that was, you and a few tennis reporters will be the only ones upset that it happened.

Unfortunately for them Michigan showed up big time. Hardaway had carried them for much of the tourney, but tonight was Stauskas's turn to carry the offensive load. Part of what makes this Michigan team so dangerous is the presence of 3 or 4 players who can carry the team any given game. The chances of them all having an off night is minimal. What makes Michigan beatable is their suspect defense. I like the Syracuse matchup. If guys are hitting shots and making crisp passes they can pick that zone apart.
