With the hindsight we have (Stainbrook being here) I'm glad it worked out the way it did too. I think the Big Stain is going to be awesome. But I do think Bhullar will grow (no pun intended) into a good player.

Bhullar sucks. He loafs around the court, and has zero offensive moves. And the best part...SLU is dismantling NMSt.

I think he already has. I'm pretty impressed with a guy his size, with his experience, and having been out of the game for a year before this year. I'm not saying I would or would not trade him for Matt Stainbrook, but I think Bhullar will have a successful college career where he's a highly visible key contributor.

They certainly talked a bunch about that. He grew up out here and his wife is a USC alum (according to the guys doing the game today). If you've spend significant time out in the Southern California sun, it's got to be difficult to live in Pittsburgh.

If it weren't for the fact that he'd be following in the steps of his mentor (again), I could see him ending up at UCLA. Which is a much better job and in a much nicer location. (Not that geography is a deciding factor in most of this; otherwise Pepperdine would be a perennial FF participant).
