As you are aware, Butler University and Xavier University have delivered notice of their intent to withdraw from the Athletic 10 conference. The Atlantic 10 will continue to make decisions to enhance the strength and brand of the conference.
A period of instability has persisted within intercollegiate athletics for the last few years and will continue. Details surrounding conference realignment are highly confidential.

Eventually Dayton will be in either the MVC or the Horizon.

They should go to MVC, that would be the best move.

I do feel sad for the A-10 as a whole. Finally, it lived up to its potential with 5 teams making the NCAA more than the ACC, SEC, and PAC12 I believe. Now it is splintered

They should go to MVC, that would be the best move.

I think they are waiting to see if the Big 10 extends an invite to them since they have "clearly passed us as a program."
