With all the stuff to end our season and conference re-alignment, somehow this got lost in the shuffle.
I don't think we appreciate just what an accomplishment our continued listing in Forbes most valuable basketball teams really is.
There are 7 Big Ten, 5 ACC, 3 B12, 2SEC, 2Pac12 schools...and Xavier again...on this list.
We are the only one not in a BCS program, looking at where schools will be in the future.
For us to reach that list, and maintain our presence is remarkable, and evidence of great long range planning in the past with consistent execution in the present.
Congrats to our administration, athletic department and the players who have brought us to this point.

It really is incredible. The only private schools on that list are Duke and Xavier. Not Georgetown. Not Villanova. Not Miami, Marquette, or Gonzaga. Just awesome for the university.

Don't get me wrong -- I love that Forbes list. I'm just not sure anyone other than us cares about it.
