View Full Version : Chris Mack today...
"I can guarantee you're going to have to cut our hearts out of our chest for us to go down." -Mack
This was in response to a question about our chances in the A-10 Tournament. Love it.

The team defense isn't great in terms of results, but I've rarely seen it give up, or easily get beaten -- at least not since conference play started. If you had to give me a program lacking talent, or a program lacking motivation, I'll take the one lacking talent any day. You can recruit that, and your program will get them motivated.

Our tournament starts tomorrow, and if we win tomorrow, we get to play again the next day against a team that we had down, but couldn't quite finish off.
I like our chances.

I'm afraid 'brew is not appropriately mentally prepared. He doesn't even know which day we play. Inexcusable!

Tomorrow's Wednesday right? Sometimes I get Thursday and Friday mixed up, but rarely the beginning to middle of the week.

As long as there is a sliver of hope, I will continue to assume they will prevail. And, at least at this point, there is WAY more than a sliver of hope.
I have great expectations for the Musketeers until they are officially eliminated...and even then I will assume it is a mistake and brood.

The mental preperation part of it starts tomorrow. That's what I meant to say.

I've never liked Chris Mack as a player - in grade school... high school... at Evansville - but he seems to be able to get the boys to do more than they knew they were capable of doing! Maybe he's found his wheelhouse in coaching!
I love what's he's done with this team this year. Wow!

"With all due respect sir, I believe this could be our finest hour."
The sentiment expressed by Ed Harris as Gene Kranz seems appropriate.
Stone cold!

The kid dribbled too much in grade school.
