Actually the irony is that the violations were with respect to French players they never even got to sign. There were some secondary violations with the Aussies, but that's it.

I think you mean Miami. The mishandling of that investigation by the NCAA may well mean the dismissal of Mark Emmert as the NCAA chair.

Randy Bennett is also going to be suspended for 5 games next season. Wasn't he also a coaching candidate for Dayton after Gregory escaped?
