Big game on Saturday for the Criers. If they win they are in. If they lose they can probably kiss their tournament hopes goodbye. If Fordham beats Dayton Fordham will probably get the 11 or 12 seed in the A-10's and Dayton will be watching the A-10 Tourney from home.
GW still needs to win one more game out of their last three to completely knock the Flyers out.
I don't know of what "at large" spot you speak. If you mean in the A-10, only the top 12 teams make it in the tournament. If you mean NCAA, they need to win the conference tourney to get in. There is no at-large possibility for Dayton.

GW owns the tie breaker with UD since they beat them this year so if Dayton doesn't beat Fordham on Saturday it is unlikely that they will win another game this season. If they don't win another game GW will be the 12 seed and Dayton will go home.

Showing a lot of confidence in the 1-win Bonnies, eh Thundercats?
Right, but if GW goes 0-3, which they very well could, and UD wins just one more game, GW goes home and UD is the 12th seed. If both teams finish their last three games with identical records, UD goes home. I'm just saying that UD is more likely to do better their last three games than GW.
To be honest, as enticing as a second-consecutive 3-0 sweep would be of the Flyers, I would really not like to play them again, which is what would happen if UD wins their first game in the conference tourney if they're a 12 seed.

What a stupid thread. It only serves to feed UD's argument that Xavier is obsessed with them. I will not post to this thread.

I don't think this is true. The only way we'd play them after winning their first game is if they're an 8 or 9 seed. I'm pretty sure there's no "re-seeding".

The 12 seed would play the 5, and the winner would play the 4.
Xavier will play the 8/9 winner. Xavier could potentially play the 12 seed in the semis.
I'm not sure why you would be worried about UD. UD played about as well as they are capable of playing on Sunday. Xavier played with 50% of Drew. On a neutral court with Drew healthy, Xavier would pound UD (with or without Chris Wright).

Just to bust your balls Kahn, but does this not count as posting to the thread?? Though I do tend to agree with you.

People that change their avatar photos in order to take shots at Dayton. Those are the f**kers I can't stand!

Hello, Sarcasm? Yes, this is XavierHoops.com calling. Could you please dial it up a notch because some of us just aren't picking it up loudly enough. 'Preciatecha.

thanks for that :). I just thought the word fu**ers was a little over the top. I almost got on to someone else for not recognizing a sarcasm post, but then I let it go...but of course, being politically correct is a must on here.

Xavierdude - you should definitely have called out the missed sarcasm. The only reason why I did is because this thread features two swings and misses. I couldn't resist - but my quips are harmless. Never take anything I say personally.

I'd be stupid to take anything personally on here.

I'm mistaken. I'm sure you're both right as far as seeding.
dc_x, sure that's your opinion. Would rather not have to play them again.

I tend to agree with DC on this one. Dayton just doesn't match up well with Xavier, even when healthy. I don't think it would be much of a challenge to threpeat them this year. I'd rather face Dayton than Charlotte, URI (despite their current implosion), SJU, or maybe even SLU although I don't anticipate another 2 minute freak experience from Lisch again.

Since I'm not posting to this thread, I won't have an opportunity to point out that my first non-post featured irony.
I will also not have a chance to go off on a rant about when my phone bill comes, and one of the pages says "this page is intentionally left blank" written right in the middle of it. Well, you f*cked up then. You intended to leave it blank, and some a-hole came along and wrote smack in the middle of it. My phone bill is lying to me. It should say "This page is intentionally written on."
