On ESPNU in case anyone didnt know and is interested watching it. Low scoring at this point, some sloppy play by both teams. Should be a close one throughout though. SLU down 4 and at the line for one at the under 8 timeout.

Big win for the Billikens. Won 65-61. Bad night from the free throw line for both teams. SLU really needed a big road win and got one. Billikens are looking really good. 9 straight wins.

SLU is on a roll right now. Glad we don't play them for awhile.

Great win!
I was a young kid when Crews coached at Evansville, but I still feel some aversion towards him.
But part of me feels bad for Crews. He's in a no win situation. Most of the credit for SLU's success this year will go towards Majerus, while if SLU does stumble in the NCAA Tourney, he will receive all of the blame.
Not that I'm expecting a Tourney stumble. This team should do some damage.

Fortunately for Crews, he didn't have to go to Dayton this year. They just teabagged them in Saint Louis a couple of weeks back.

Like I said on the other thread.
Where was boy genius Brad Stevens at crunch time when his team was only down 3 and no timeout or play call? Just dribble and jack, and not good jacks either. All of a sudden when it meant something he turns into spectator.
If Chris Mack did that the roasting wouldn't stop.
And I guess Butler didn't shoot 100 free throws every day this week.

As I stated previously, SLU is the team to beat. No doubt in my mind.

What's your point?
Are you saying Brad Stevens is a bad coach?
I don't get it.

If Chris Mack took Xavier to two straight NC games, he would probably have a little more leeway to get away with things like that.
I thought SLU (and Butler) could do some damage in the tournament, after watching that game I think Sweet 16 may be the max and I would be surprised if Butler got there.
