The longer these fools let the flagship hang around....
3 game stretch of Richmond, Duquesne and Forham coming up. I think we'll all be feeling real good about things if we can get past the Arachnids.

Seth Davis was quoted as saying that the top 3 teams in the A10 should make it to the NCAA tourney. Looking at this logjam, I wouldn't be surprised if its the top 4

Hilarious that Dayton isn't on that list.

The rest of our A10 brethren are afraid of success. They're so unaccustomed to it (thanks to us!) that the year they finally have a chance for it, they can't pull the trigger and let it happen. So sad.

Two A10 teams have 3 losses:
-Temple
-St Joes
And one of them is going to have 4 losses soon because they play each other Saturday.

UMass and Charlotte play each other, so someone will fall to 4-3 while the other rises to 5-2.
LaSalle (4-3) could also cut GW down a peg to join the 3-loss teams.
On a non-competitive note, Rhode Island travels to Butler Saturday. After Butler's loss today, I pity the Rams.

WTF is up with St. Louis storming the court after a 17 point win? Amateurs.
I sure didn't see any court storm at XU after A) We beat Butler or B) After the dump went down.
Oh, that's right. Beating the dump is expected.

That's a common male problem.

Game against the spiders is HUGE...have to take one there and take care of business against Fordham and Duquesne. Sets us up well for those 4 homes games in a row where we plant our seed in the tournament and at the top of this conference...again.
We're likely going to lose to Butler and Dayton on the road...if we can keep to 4-5 losses in the A10, we'll have a shot.

LaSalle has 3 losses also. So 10 teams have either 2 or 3 losses. It's crazy how good those 3-loss teams can play too. LaSalle, Temple, and St. Joe's are all capable of beating very good teams.

BLASPHEMER!!!! Commandment #11: Thou shalt not speak of losing to Dayton or Butler. It could happen, but thou shalt not say it might.

Actually, with this team, we'll probably beat Butler and Dayton and lose to Fordham and Duquesne.

not to rain on the parade but the schedule down the stretch will be a true gauntlet for XU; easy on the cupcakes or you might not have room for the steak and potatoes

Any way you slice it, X has 9 league games left and likely has to go 6-3 to have a shot at a top 4 finish.
That would have us at 11-5 and 18-11 overall. Win a few games in the tourney and we may have a shot.

oops fogot about Memphis
19-11 would be a really, really nice way to finish the regular season

If we can get Richmond and Duquesne on the road we are looking mighty good for the stretch run. Do I think they will beat them both? No.
But I didn't think we'd be talking about this so there is a chance.
I hope they win tomorrow. Geezal I hope they win. They need to realize now that they have put themselves in position to win this league. Let's hope they rise up to the challenge. If they do........Mack should and will be praised for a long time.

SLU has had a nice week. Glad we don't play them for a little bit - let them cool down first.

I think long-term Hurley has a good thing going on there. Since the conference schedule has started, he has had a pretty bad team in position to compete.
