Fight of this team

I know today's game didn't get us a win but I am so proud of the fight and heart of this team. It has been awhile since I have seen a Xavier women's team be a total unit like this. They work together, play hard every minute they are on the floor and just never quit fighting to get a win. It isn't just a couple kids it is ALL of them. It is wonderful to see and I know they will reap a few rewards yet this season if they keep this up. It cannot be easy for the coaches or team to stay positive but I admire their tenacity. I will continue to support them in their fight and hope others will also. Hopefully we will get the other 3 back soon and this team will continue to grow and improve. Go X!

as just a fan, it gets a bit frustrating to see loss after loss. But when you really look at the group you realize that this is a real underdog story. just in Coach Waughs second year she has managed to teach them to embrace the togetherness. they have this us against the world mentality when so many many times a team getting beat repeatedly develops an internal strife, with each player not willing to take blame but overly willing to place blame on team mates.

In what has become a very competitive conference, the program was left with a bare cupboard, just a few keys players after McGuff left for UW, asnd the transfer dust settled, to be able to accomplish anything at all under these circumstances is a credit to the Coach that Ms Waugh will be, and a credit to the true moxie this band of Musketeers has!

The future is bright, meanwhile I am enjoying the playing style of this group, they're just a few steps, a couple shots away in each game from notching wins, and that really is what collegiate sport is all about, competitive play!

Well said XU-PA thanks for showing the sides of things sometimes people don't see. They are surely competing to the best of their ability and beyond so what more can we ask with three starters out right now. Love the fight in this team and the way they have all picked up for their other teammates. I agree the future is bright and we will get there even with all the bumps in the road. Go X!
