Well, night number one of the 2012-13 A-10 season is almost in the books and:
F-em beating Dookane in the Bronx
GW smokes the Bonnes. X gets the three corner hat crew this Saturday.
Butler's first A-10 game is a win on Hawk Hill. They outscore SJU by 11 in the second half to win by 6.
ud losing big to VCU in their A-10 cherry buster.
Rhody and Richmond too close to call with 29 seconds left in the Confederate capital.
Charlotte up by 8 vs LaSuck with 12 mins to play. UNC was winning by 17 at home after 1st half.

And.....
The only game available on a national feed TV network was F-m vs Dookcane. Not St. Joes/Butler or VCU/udump. Well done A-10 media barons.
F-m vs. Dookcane. Let that sink in.

Last night I was checking the Directv schedule for tonight hoping to see some of the A-10 games on somewhere. Yeah the only one I came across was the Dukes and Rams. I thought, "Are you f-ing kidding me? That's it?" Really disappointed. I had hoped I'd be able to see at the very least the Butler-St. Joe's game. Pretty pathetic.

And now this from Deadspin.
St. Joes halftime featured a dunking group that couldn't dunk.
What a freaking league.

This could be quite possibly, the worst half time show I have ever seen. The frisbee dogs were already booked? What the F**k is this crap?
Did anyone vet the "dunk team" and actually see if they could dunk before booking them for the halftime show?
I would like to refer to this entire league as a Mickey Mouse operation.....but that would be an insult to Mickey Mouse.

Speaking of halftime shows. At the Temple game, we had the Xavier Dance Team. They looked like they were wearing sweats and long sleeve white t-shirts and just weren't that good. Right after them, a high school dance team, maybe Seton, came out. They had very nice outfits and were so much better than the X women. It was embarrassing.

My wife missed the Temple game. I texted her during halftime saying that there was a girl on the X dance team that could afford to lose 100lbs.

Maybe that's her plan: join the dance team / lose 100 lbs.

Well we already had quick change, red panda, and one of the two jump rope teams. LaSalle has the other jump rope team. Then we have frisbee dogs and I'm sure Viking magic before the year is out. Pretty normal halftime show schedule.
What seems to be lacking overall is give away items.

Damnit. I missed Red Panda? Must have been the Butler game.
