Does anyone know if in all this fiscal cliff crap the employee side of social security is going back to 6.2% or is it staying at 4.2%? I've lost track, and when I google it, I'm getting the wrong stuff.

So, we're getting more spending AND more taxes.
Boehner really nailed the dems to the wall on that one.

Yep. Kick the can down the road, AGAIN. The tax increases are immediate, while the indeterminate spending cuts happen later. Does anyone really think that will happen? The only hope we have is for Boehner to hold up increasing the debt limit until real, immediate, spending cuts are implemented. Of course, Obama has already stated he will not negotiate when the debt ceiling is reached.
Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

Social Security is indeed back to 6.2% for both the employer and employee now; it was never intended to be a long-term cut to 4.2% (employee share).
I can live with the new tax brackets that Congress and the President came with, but not with the pork bills that they added to this legislation at the last second. That's one big reason they postponed the spending cuts for another 2 months - it just gives Congress and lobbyists another green light to add pork to the spending cuts/sequester that was supposed to take place right now.
No props to Congress for doing the bare minimum here.
