Thinking about putting one in eventually in back yard...maybe 25x25 or 25x30?
Anyone have one or know of anyone with one...cost of concrete? General estimate of concrete, hoop, and perhaps lighting?

Do you want the cost in dollars or in pairs of authentic jersey shorts? (sorry couldn't resist).

There are some national firms that specialize in sport surface installation that have a "presence" in the Cincinnati area. However, if you prefer to work with local companies then I highly recommend Ewers & Sons. They installed a new sports surface over our existing asphalt tennis court (which was showing it's age) and we now have a dual purpose court..........tennis and full court basketball.

I recently had an outdoor curling court installed on my estate. It was very reasonable - only $73 a square foot. I did splurge on the deluxe locker room facility that I built next to it, but curling is a rough sport and two 763 jet whirlpools just weren't enough.

I saw an ad for this in a magazine and someone emailed me like 2 weeks later and I don't recall my dimensions exactly bit the quote was about $12,000 before the the concrete so I politely declined that bid. I did end up getting concrete for about $5,000 for 18 by 26. This was about 2 years ago. It's now a party patio as the boy who plays AAU and HS said it wasn't big enough. Hence the party patio.

If you're laying new concrete, IMO there is no reason to put a sport court over it until it begins to age or crack.

SportCourt actually has a new "sub base" product that eliminates the need for concrete...but I'm guessing this product is as much as, or more than, concrete.

I don't remember any of the specifics but I vaguely remember my uncle was talking about the cost of the entire flooring costing somewhere around $5,000. Not sure if that is even in the ballpark though.
