I got a Xavier Longaberger basket and Xavier trivet for entertaining that's pretty awesome! My best friend (a non-X grad) also found a place in Massachusetts that makes pewter ornaments for universities and does them as a series, so each year there's a different campus spot featured. This year's ornament was Hinkle Hall.
I also got a fleece vest, a pink sweatshirt, an All For One shirt, and an alumni shirt.
The hubby got a polo shirt, a fleece vest, an All For One shirt and an alumni shirt, as well as skin its for his ipad and Xbox controllers and an ipad case with an X on it.
Our daughter got an All for One shirt which is huge on her, but we'll figure something out. She got three other t-shirts, a sweatshirt, ponytail holders like the cheerleaders wear, and some Blue Blob tattoos and stickers.
Merry X-mas :)

Forgive my ignorance, but what in the world is a trivet?

Were most of these items bought at the Xavier bookstore/team shop? I'll be in Cincy this weekend and plan to buy some Christmas gifts for myself.

Actually the" football fanatics" web site has lots of XU stuff, some of it is very nice. Bought a long sleeve tshirt and hat for my son and a very nice hooded sweat for my daughter. Got Xu LaSalle tics. as a a gift...not an exciting game, but the way things are going maybe it's one we can win.

It's called Adams and Adams. She said they make them for a variety of schools (she and her husband are William & Mary grads). She said she noticed that they've been making the XU ornaments for about 15 years, so I think I might order one from the year I graduated and one from the year my husband graduated. They're about $23.

What do you guys do with all this xavier shit? I have told people to stop giving me xavier stuff after I got a stupid snowman with an X on it and a flower pot with an x on it. I have at least 3 jackets/hoodies, 10 shirts and 2 pairs of shorts. Do you throw the old shit away when you get something new, or are your houses just full of xavier crap?
Having said all that, the ornaments that company does are nice looking. If I put up a tree, I'd get one of those.

I just pass the stuff along to my girls. They love to use my old Xavier stuff.
Stopped in the book store this past weekend. Some day they will actually stock a nice, heavy jacket I'm sure.
That said, got another hat (with sword logo) and a couple of the cheapo fleeces for the little lady (pink) and me. She loved it. Perfect for South Carolina winters.
BTW, the windbreaker I got last year, and which they still stock, is one of the best X things I've ever owned.

The clothes we wear, and when they get old we either wear them painting, etc., donate them if they're still nice looking or some I turn into rags for cleaning. But, really you can wear the stuff anywhere - working out, running errands, etc. Little LM wears her stuff to school all the time.
We don't have a ton of XU stuff around the house. We have some stuff in my husband's office/poker room - like bar stools we painted with the logo. We don't have a snowman or anything like that. Our Xavier flag is flying outside the house right now, but outside of that, you'd have to look hard

Is it a snowman with pom poms? If so, I think it is a set. I have a Xavier Santa Clause and a Xavier Snow man that come up with the Christmas decorations and go back in the box at the end of the holidays.
I received a Xavier Gnome this Christmas that will go out in the yard somewhere. Good chance the dogs or the deer will pee on him at some point, but I don't care. It will brighten up the mulch.

My son has had that in his room since about a week after fathead started making it. I have to admit, it looks pretty slick on the wall.

.
Actually, we normally do. This year we spent a week out of town in December, and it wasn't our turn to host our rotating christmas cocktail party, so we did very little christmas decorating.
I generally only wear my X stuff (with the exception of ballcaps) to games, so they last a good long time. The stuff I like I have enough of. The pointless stuff that I would have no need for if it didn't have an X on it I can do without.

Bah Humbug....
But to a point I know what you're getting at. It is increasingly becoming an "out" to get something with an X on for Christmas. Only need one Xavier rug for instance.

Surprisingly no, but my parents are not huge sports fans.
We do a name drawing with my siblings (since there are six of us plus spouses is ten). My brother had my name, no X gear from him. That was a bit of a surprise.

Would this be your bother who is out our resident AFO golf "ringer"? I would have pegged him for a last minute X related gift buyer.
