Other than expanding the NCAA Tournament to 96 teams, this is the worst idea I have ever heard of. I'm not exaggerating. This is it. It's probably a worse idea than tournament expansion, but with fewer consequences.
Someone please lobotomize the genius who came up with this......

I almost threw up so I couldn't finish the article. But, wow, AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.
I thought the article was just going to be to play A game in Cowboys stadium which would be horrible. I sat in the top row of Lucas Oil for the Duke/Butler championship game and that was way too far away and Cowboys stadium hold, what, 40,000 more seats than Lucas Oil?
You're right, this is dumber than the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I like how he wants to bring troops in and make it for the troops likely so that people can't say no because then they'd be against the troops. As awful as the NCAA is, this will probably happen.

ewwww... hey but can't you see - other balls flying into the wrong court - that could be hilarious.
I saw the headlines and immediately closed the page. But the mental damage has been done, and cannot be undone. I demand heads for this idea. Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys represent all that is wrong with sports. Seriously. If they infect college basketball, a piece of it will die for good.
I'd rather they invite every D1 team and a bunch of D2 teams to the NCAA tournament, and play the whole damn thing in dayton than see this idea come to fruition.

Why on earth are we playing a final four at Cowboys Stadium? Place is a shithole. Now they want to have four games at a time?
Why? It's bad enough we have everything else played there. Jerry wants everything done at Cowboys Stadium. God Damn I hate that guy.
I hate Jerry Jones so much it works me up. The only reason I'm glad he's still living is because the old delusional coot still actually thinks he can make intelligent football decisions for that shit team of his.

It may not be so bad if all eight schools are independents.
Is Gus Macker going to sponsor the thing?

Jerry Jones at it again. Barnum and Bailey meets an NFL owner with an ego the size of his stadium.
I understand they give tours of the stadium. I talked with a guy the other night who said he was in Dallas over a weekend and he went out there for the hell of it. $17.50 per person for the tour, including allowing you on the field. He said it's one big merchandizing/Disney store.
BTW, 6,000 people took the tour that day!
That's as nuts as holding 4 games simultaneously.

Jerry World is awesome. I'd go. I hope Xavier is not involved in any way, though.

From a TV perspective, you probably wouldn't even notice. They would just switch to each game like they do in March Madness. Being in the stands would be another story. Dumb.

I think they should play them on the same court. Every 20 min. a new team comes in until all the teams have played 40.

Remember the Cowboys are coming to town. Ugh. Agree with Brew. Just someone's idea of how to make more money. What next? Games in outer space???????

These gimmicks have jumped the shark. I liked the Basket Bowl, but as gimmicky as that was, it had been done before in NCAA Tournaments, so it wasn't too over the top.
The first aircraft carrier game was tolerable. I didn't like it, but I didn't dislike it either. Having four aircraft carrier games was ridiculous, especially since two of the games were cancelled.
This is absurd. Completely and totally nuts.
What next??
Lets get a flat bed truck that's big enough to hold a basketball court, and drive it around Los Angeles during rush hour while playing a game. If the truck goes through an underpass and the ball hits the ceiling, it's a jump ball.
Lets get a barge and sail it down the Ohio River in the middle of december, while playing a game.
Lets build a giant farris wheel, and put ten revolving courts on it. It will spin around as all ten games are going on at once.
Lets put a court on a submarine, and submerge it in the middle of the ocean while playing a game.
Lets put a court on a spaceship, and play a game while orbiting the Earth.
Lets find a skyscraper, and put a court up on the roof, and play a game.
WTF???!!!! STOP THE MADNESS!!!!!
Actually, I don't think any of the ideas listed above are as assinine as what they're proposing to do at Jerry World.
I hope your guys' Bengals can take care of those douchebags for me this weekend. In return, I'll have my boys take care of the Raisins.

I would watch (and want to go to) every one of these

Excellent point. If this isn't made for TV, why on earth would they do it?

I saw the title to this thread and thought it was going to be about how two storied rivals decided to move their 70+ year annual meeting from each teams respective home court to an off-campus craphole better known for minor league hockey and Backstreet Boys concerts, after a fight in which no one was seriously injured. And then give a portion of the profits to a non-profit center which is the source of much derision locally.
But yea, a basketball game in Cowboy Stadium is a close second.
