Hopefully we can finish off what would be a big night for the league.

Charlotte just improved to 8-0 with a BIG win at Davidson. Davidson did have three losses, but two were to New Mexico and Gonzaga in close games. Both games were away from home, and both Gonzaga and New Mexico are unbeaten and ranked, so Davidson is still pretty good.

Temple leads at Nova, and can improve to 6-0.

Dayton can get a big win at Alabama if they hold on. They've led by double digits for most of the second half, but Bama is starting to put together a run.

La Salle leads Penn State, and can improve to 5-1. They haven't looked quite as impressive as I thought, but I still think La Salle can be a tournament team this year.

SLU held on to beat North Texas and shouldn't have any trouble winning their next four games, which will get them to 9-3.

Yeah, just got through the boxscores tonight. Nice wins indeed. sUCks needs a buzzer beater to beat Alabama at home. Dayton easily handles Alabama on the road. College basketball for ya.

I was impressed with Charlotte. They have some nice looking frosh, especially the kid Clayton.

Nice wins for Charlotte and Dayton, A-10 handling business was nice to see. As my Flyer grad buddy likes to say, typical Dayton bball, win games they shouldn't, lose games they shouldn't. But on to more important topics, the Charlotte coach needs to give up on the whole hair thing and shave it off.

It looks as though the conference will provide us with multiple opportunities at quality wins. In the past, we were the quality opponent and we were the potential NCAA Tournament resume builder for the other teams in the league. This year, though, there are a lot of teams that will come in with solid credentials. We can actually build a very good profile during conference play.

It will probably provide us with a bunch of losses, frankly. That's okay. We'll be back.
