I know, I know...most of you probably couldn't care less, but I'm from Clinton County and today was the first time in the county's history that a high school athletic team won a state title.

I have no idea what the hell they are feeding those boys in Clarksville, but damn. They beat Columbus Bishop Hartley (No. 1 ranked team all year) last week 45-21 and beat St. Clairsville this afternoon 46-36 to win the state title. Massie broke the all time record for points in a season scoring over 800 points in 15 games!! Most of their games in the regular season, the starters didn't play past halftime. Amazing.

Good to see a small local school kick some major ass.

Just read where Massie scored 822 points this season in 15 games!! That's 54.8 ppg. With their starters sitting out the 2nd half of the majority of their games in the regular season, they could have easily gotten that up to 60 ppg. That's crazy for a team whose strength is running the ball. Couldn't watch the game because of work, but saw some highlights....pretty nasty athletes for Division 4.
