That's not a violation. Similar things have actually been done before. In that case, I don't think it's a violation to give him one of the shirts, since they're also giving them away to anyone and everyone.

I am not an expert, but Here is what I believe: There is a fine line between violation and non-violation in here. It is only a violation if the school or a school organization is behind things like this, or even if the school informs/suggests something like this. If it is a grassroots operation by fans through no information or help of the University, it is perfectly legal.

I would assume, with all of the means of information and heavy recruiting following, these fans found out about the visit on their own and took matters into their own hands. If that is the case, no violation has occurred.

If anyone more knowledgeable wants to correct any information I have given, please do.
