Aesome performance, though Coach Waugh is not happy with the turnovers,,,21 to Morehead's 16. Rebounding margin very strong at 39-22.
Disappointing game from Zanttr with 4 fouls, 1 board and 0 points in 4 minutes.

Crouch and Hawkes were the killers in this game, Lakeisha with 14 points, 7 boards and 3 steals, Shatyra 24 points, 6 boards and 4 assists!!!! Wow!!!!

USFLDAN,,, your thoughts? This was the game to compare to last year, this is a well coached team with a bit of success in their history.

IMO,,,,, good win and once again this team is showing that they are a fun team to watch with strong players on the court at all times. That's really the key that I see, there is no drop off when subs come in,,,, not at all!

This one is easy- Shatyra Hawkes was awesome. Led all players in points (24) and assists (4), and at 5-foot-3, almost rebounds (6, leader was Crouch with 7).

The other story was turnovers (again). When we took care of the ball, we were unstoppable. I don’t think we had any to start the game when we jumped out to an 11-0 lead. I just count two in the first eight minutes of the second half when the lead went from 7 to 23. When we did turn it over, Morehead State was able to make some runs.

The only gripe defensively was we didn’t get out on some 3-pointers- nearly half their baskets (8 of 17) were 3’s.

This win was much easier than last year’s. I think Morehead State must have lost some people- I don’t think they have a senior on their roster, but this still shows me we are definitely on the right track. I don’t know much about Duke yet, aside from the fact they are #3 or 4 in the country, but I am excited to see how we do against them. I think our play elevated after playing Michigan, and hopefully, win or lose, this game can do the same.
