Butler vs. John Groce's undefeated Illini. Illinois is 5-0 and scoring 84 pts a game.

Game is on ESPN at 10 est.

I have to say that Illinois was pretty darn impressive.

Amazing how much different they look under Groce. Can't think of the old coach's name right now, but they really struggled to score under him.

Bruce Weber, now at Kansas State, was the coach. BTW, Illinois won because only one of Butler's guards could hit shit. Groce used the same defense Chris Mack used and shut one of those two down.

Chris Mack devised the template to beat Butler. Groce just copied it.

Butler had two very nice wins out there, but they still look very weak inside to me.

Makes you wonder if Groce conferred with Mack at all. We know Roy Williams did not. :)

I didn't think either team looked all that tough. UofI's center hit some big shots.

Illinois looked okay, I do like the little Paul, not as good as Chris, but he's got some game. Groce definitely studied the tape from us putting a beating on Butler, so there's a blueprint out there.

I think Roy Williams is overrated as a coach.

His team was toally unprepared for Butler.

He's starting to look lost in the sidellines.

On a unrealted note......how much pressure is Jay Wright feeling at Villanova ?

They got crushed by Columbia the other night.

Roy Williams gets the best players around. His talent would make anyone look good. I think as far as X's and O's he's very overrated. He also seems like an arrogant prick.

Agreed, never liked Roy Williams.
