the are fast breaking, forcing turnovers, forcing bad shots, and locking down on defense putting HP in foul trouble.

Hawkes and Amber with 14 each, Pachko and Glover with 10 apiece!
Pachko added a dozen boards for a double double.
Alliyah Zant with the best line of the night, 6 boards, 5 assists, 3 steals and 7 points in 26 minutes. Nice work for a freshman!.
Team shot 54% and 89% free throws.
And really, this is a fun team to watch, they are running, and playing hard dee, very "amy-like"

Agree ... great ball movement. Great teamwork. This team could have a very good season. Looking forward to Xavier getting a big win over Duke on Sunday ... staying an extra day in Cincy for it! Go X!

Honestly, I don’t think they played that well- 24 turnovers really sticks out. High Point just had only one girl with any offensive ability, #42, who scored their first nine points and got them out to a 15-11 lead early. She got into foul trouble, though, and it was over from there.
I know the stats look very favorable in rebounding and points in the paint, but we struggled to stop #42 when she was in there and several of the turnovers came trying to forcing the ball into the paint.
There were definitely positives- we really ran fast break well and had no problem the first taste of a press we’ve seen. Crittenden had an off night, but Glover really stepped up- more good defense and showed some offensive ability score with 10 points!
It’s good to see us beat a team by 29 in game where we could have played better- and see the Michigan team we hung with last week beat the snot out of Seton Hall at the same time (72-29. It was 35-6 at halftime).
Wednesday will be our first chance to compare ourselves against a team we played last season- Morehead State (W, 71-66). And to check out what their coach wears:
