It looks like Coach Waugh and staff are about to bring in a really nice 6 member class for next year. They have great credentials and will be an added asset to our program. Can't wait to see them on the floor, go X and welcome to the program!

Would love to see the women's program get back on track. McGuff just couldn't see to get them to the turn the corner...maybe Amy will!

Needless to say I disagree with the assessment you gave.

Coach Balcomb, and Coach McGuff both did great jobs in their time at XU. Both built the program to higher levels than they were, they recruited well and put winning teams on the floor year after year.
Both also left for high profile jobs in "bigger" conferences with big pay hikes.
This school has been placed at the point where most fans expect to win every game.
Take it one game at a time, but here's hoping Coach Waugh continues the tradition, but decides to change this into a destination job, rather than a stepping stone.
