So the team got an at large bid to play at UK this Thursday at 7 pm. My Buffalo Wild Wings is very close to their complex, and I would invite any and all X fans to swing by before and after the win to grab a few beers and some food!

Hope to see some fellow musketeers around.

Cool, I'm thinking about going, but I'm not sure if I can yet. X got a terrible draw, by the way. They have to go on the road in the first round while VCU and St. Louis got a bye and host second round games.

X did not have a very good RPI (mid-30's) in comparison to their ranking. The seedings and home/away pretty much followed the RPI.

I know, but the RPI itself is bogus. Their only two losses were to VCU and St. Louis (15 and 6 in the final RPI). They also had a win against St. Louis and ties on the road to Virginia and Northwestern. In the end, though, it doesn't matter. They still have to play and win tonight at UK. If that happens, I'll be at IU on Sunday.

They got screwed when Butler and VCU jumped into the conference, and they had to replace a game and picked up D3 juggernaut Thomas More... *end sarcasm* if they would have had ANY D1 team in that slot, I'm sure the RPI would have been higher. So dumb they don't have a home game. Hopefully they get a W, and I'll be in attendance on Sunday when they take on IU.

See you Sunday!
1-0 win. Luke Spencer (surprise) scored in the 86th. The Walker Twins crafted a masterful counter attack to set up the game winner.

Any a little luck from that deflection, but from about 8 out, I knew Luke was burying it. I'm surprised the goal didn't come earlier, dominated most of the first half, and looked fluid in the second as well, I would say we had the better scoring opportunities and deserved to win that game.
