Picked behind LaSuck. That's tough.

I see that Duquesne firing Everhart has them back where they belong.

Well, time to sneak up on 'em.

St. Joe's #1? Wasn't expecting to see that. Martelli always seems to deliver just when the folks on Hawk Hill are starting to get tired of him.

Martelli has quiety landed some excellent players the last couple years. This year's team will be very good.

I think he tries to be reasonably objective most of the time, but I always feel like Xavier's success has been too much for him over the years.

With Dez, Davis and Reynolds, I was thinking 5th or so with it being a rebuilding year.

I think we finish ahead of URI, SBU, Fordham, GW, Duq. I think if we surprise a few people we can finish ahead of Dayton, Lasalle, Richmond, Charlotte. We will not beat SLU (unless Majerus was really the driving force there), SJU, Temple, and UMass.

I agree.

I think it is safe to say a little fan de-moralizing, or reality checking has set in.

I didn't think I would see such a calm response to beign tabbed 9th. Then again, after this off season...

It's what we do best. That and jump off one foot.

St Joes is legit, they will be a force to reckon with. I also think Umass is being under valued at 5. Chaz Williams is the real deal and WILL make noise come March.

Lets be honest, the A10 is legit this year and this might be he first time we have a losing record in the A10. We are lucky to be in the top 10.

WH is at heart a UMass fan - not sure why he would have any bias towards Xavier in that matter.

The UMass forwards are the impressive players in my view. Esho and Lalanne are players that were out by the time they played X last year, but I saw them early and these are very athletic guys. And I'm sure everyone remembers Putney.
