I don't know if you guys have been keeping up with Xavier soccer much, but so far undefeated (4-0-1, the best start in history if I believe correctly?), and the guys scored three goals back to back for the first time since 2003! They have came back from numerous ties and even being down, and if not for a late blunder (giving up a PK with 9 seconds left against Northwestern) they would be undefeated. Also Luke Spencer (a senior Forward) has scored 6 goals throughout the 5 games which is the most in conference, and was named player of the week for the A10 last week. They've been pretty solid defensively as well behind Justin Marshall who is a DAMN good keeper if you've seen him in person. The boys travel on to a really good soccer program in University of Virginia at Charlottesville on Friday, so if anyone is near there, I'd say go check them out! They are #22nd in the nation right now, and I just figured I'd give them a little mention!! :biggrin:
