I need to take a quick second to recognize Savannah State. I knew that they were not a strong program, even by FCS standards. I didn't realize that they are 4-72 in their last 76 games. They play in the MEAC. A two-thirds of their schedule is MEAC teams, and they've lost 72 of their last 76 games.

They're at Florida State this weekend. The spread, as of yesterday, is -70.5. I'm not sure if that is the point spread, or the over/under on how many fans will actually show up to watch that garbage.

I'm much more of a basketball guy than a football guy. After transitioning up to div1, Savannah State went a whopping 7-79 in their first three years of basketball. They have since improved, and actually finished in first place in the MEAC last year (although they lost in the quarterfinals of the conference tourney). Growing pains, I guess. I didn't know their football was as bad as their basketball.
