Rather than capitalizing on this distraction, MadX was equally confused by Drudy's use of the black uniform since he was supposedly the home team.

The retro look proved equally as challenging;

The entire ESPN broadcast went off the air as the Spirit Teams rushed the wrong bench.
Both teams are at the beer booth getting ready for the second half.

As projected, this did not end well.

At half time, a group of heavy donors, apparently in town for the XHAFO golf outing, got wind of the game. [At first I thought MOR might be involved, but he was listening to music and couldn't have done this]. After checking out the uniforms, they went to the Board of Trust...er the Board of Moderators, and demanded the game be moved to a neutral site.

Bowing to the pressure, the Mods took what was essentially a home game for both teams, and relegated it to USBank Out on the Mall Arena. Mass confusion resulted, especially among the incoming student body enjoying the game.

A mandatory Manresa reflection session was demanded of all new students who even looked at MadX's uniform shorts. Those caught looking at Drudy's shorts were given drug tests. That postponed the start of the second half by 2 hours.

After the beer, bourbon, Bojangles and bacon vendors set up shop in the new location, the game was restarted. It was a joke.

Muskie kept trying to steal Bilas' Thesaurus to find definitions.
Xeus was AWOL again. So was Tardy...or just very late.
Amex was probably trying to keep the Board from banning Gamecock fans.
Kahn's got wiped and raided the bacon booth.
DC was showing some co-eds his trunk.
Glow ran out of Elvis autographed plasma lamps, but wisely left the wife and daughter at home. That upset Bobbie.
Nuts was selling some sort of photographs until Roach caught him.
Go kept trying to show Digger where Kansas was on the map.
Q refused to do a post game write up.

It was a disaster.

Meanwhile, the game got out of hand...literally. Drudy managed 2 points until the final minute, and MadX never got a field goal. He did however get 3 points for hand checking fouls, but that at least makes sense.

With the score at 11 - 10, and just 9 seconds left, all hell broke loose.
Dickie V was commenting on the Spirit Teams as he had zero idea of what was going on out on the court. He made some sort of remark about the Little Lady Muskie cheering with one team, and why wasn't she in school with all the other little kids.

Unfortunately for him, Lady Muskies overheard the comment...and proceeded to go all postal on him. Both Spirit Teams started a giant melee for unknown reasons. Blobfan may have kicked Dickie V right after Lady flattened him. He did say later he now understands Rule #1.

The game was called, and all bets will be returned.
Next year the Brawl in the Out on the Mall will be moved to a more secure location.
