View Full Version : What to make of this?

Chris Mack just tweeted:
"Everytime I eat at Chili's I think back to recruiting trips w @UACoachMiller. He'd almost need a 2nd salt shaker for the chips n salsa."
http://twitter.com/CoachChrisMack/status/218871534373187584
Is this an innocent comment on Sean Miller's love of salt? Is he gently poking fun of Sean Miller's odd eating habits?
Or is this a critique on Miller's ambition? Miller couldn't satisfy himself with the salt in just one shaker. He almost needed 2 salt shakers. In other words, Miller couldn't satisfy himself at Xavier. He needed the big contract at Arizona.
Discuss.

I believe this is the only tweet Chris Mack has ever written about Miller. IMHO, there's a lot going on under the surface of this tweet.

No, have you seen Sean Miller's fat ass? Why would/does Mack hate him?
Edit: And don't say "he stole Mark Lyons."

I think he's gently reminding any recruits considering both Arizona and Xavier that Miller will probably be dead soon.

Uhhhh.....I think he's suggesting that Miller uses too much salt when eating chips and salsa, nothing more. Geez.
And in other news, Bob Huggins drinks too much.

Obviously Sean Miller is Judas Iscariot.
This has been covered.

Maybe I missed this is Sunday School, but which verse mentioned that Judas looked like a raccoon?

Sean would always try to order the "Lexus Margarita". He hated it when Coach Mack told him it may have higher quality ingredients, but it tastes the same as the "Buick Margarita".

But seriously, what it means to me is that Mack and Miller still have a friendly relationship.

Agreed. And why wouldn't they? They have a very different relationship with one another than we do. Miller hired Mack to be his Associate Head Coach. Then when Miller left he lobbied on behalf of Mack, who ultimately got his first HC gig at a Top 15-25 basketball program. (Mack may or may not have needed the lobbying, but it couldn't have hurt.)
For those who think Mack might be upset about Miller taking Lyons, I seriously (SERIOUSLY) doubt that's the case. For lack of a better analogy, Miller took Mack's cast-off. If Mack didn't want Lyons playing somewhere else, he had a simple solution: don't kick him off the team. (And with that, I really don't intend to restart the "was Lyons fired or did he quit" debate...)

Chris Mack is not a gourmand. 5 star recruits via 1 star restaurants.

This is proof that twitter is stupid.
Look a the knobber who chimes in a response. Good lord. stick to message boards where commentary is much more sophisticated.
