Chris had a pretty funny go at Tyrice Walker who was in the audience...apparently going back a few years how Tyrice got the better of Chris in hs. Chris checked the box score and while Hamilton beat St. X, Chris had 26 (as a senior) while Tyrice had 2 (soph).

After Kevin Pater did the thanks and introductions, girl from All for One talked followed by Amy Waugh. Amy went over her 5 new players...talked about Duke and Michigan coming to the Cintas.

Chris then took the floor. He introduced the staff, including the two new assistants. Talking to some there, the general thought is that the 2 new guys might be an upgrade from the coaching/practice standpoint. Recruiting connections remain to be seen. Chris talked about most of the individual players...Stainbrook is doing really well - already dropped a lot of weight, cut his hair and is putting up a lot of shots - he seems to be bought in at least for the 2 months he has been here. Farr and Christon have been on campus for a while and M. Davis and Reynolds will start summer classes on July 6th (?). He mentioned that Farr is playing well and also joked about Jalen's aggressiveness....or ability to pick up fouls. Brad is doing well and he thinks we will see more from him being over a year after his rehab...Chris said that Brad played his best defense last season and he implied that his offense should come around with him being stronger. Dee Davis is getting stronger, as is Taylor and Robinson. When asked who will replace Kenny - He said that they would not have a true 5, but not many college teams do and Kenny will be replaced by committee. After saying how hard everyone was working, it was interesting the he said that Martin was only having an average summer.

He talked about the 3 seniors....Tu of course is looking forward to next week's draft. Chris seemed to think that he will get drafted. Kenny has been working out in Houston with Lucas and other pros. Might be to a tryout camp or two. He talked about what a great kid Walker was and Andre is interning with an agent group and he is mentoring someone (can't remember the name). He didn't address the Lyons situation at all, but the talk going around was that the chemistry seems better and different players were starting to become more vocal in workouts. Chris did mention that everythings good in the summer and things can change when practices start.
