They ranked the Big East coaches in a different article....UC is 10th out of 15...

10. Cincinnati: The problem for Cincinnati? It still doesn’t scream Big East. Never did. Never will. The fans are supportive and the city atmosphere is welcoming but it is one of those schools that you can sort of easily gloss over -- or worse, forget -- when rattling off the conference members.

Haha. The only thing I disagree with is: "the fans are supportive".

Note that they're ranking the best coaching JOBS not the best coaches. I suspected that something was awry when I saw St. Bonnie's listed at the bottom of that A-10 what Mark Schmidt has done there in his few short years at the helm.

No doubt XU is the #1 coaching job in the A10. Not sure that Butler deserves to be #3. Great coach? Yes. Great place to coach? Not so sure...

I could see the UC job being behind all of those except perhaps USF, but it is in south Florida so...

What I found interesting is the comment about South Florida needing Central Florida "giving the Bulls some sort of geographic logic to being in the Big East"

St. Louis is in the Atlantic 10 for crying out loud!

The current realignment scramble has made geographical distinction even less relevant.

Well, the AD seems to have supported basketball through 4 different fairly succsssful coaches there.
