SI's Luke Winn takes a look at how conference strength has shifted thru realignment using Pomeroys pythagorean win %. I picked this up from the Enemaquirer, and thought it had maybe been posted here at XH already, but can't find anything. If someone points out a thread, I'll merge.
Based on this analysis, the A10 improved marginally. Of course, this analysis doesn't take into account markets. The A10 essentially traded the Indy market for the Charlotte market. I think that's a net gain, because it kind of makes St. Louis less of an outlier.
A couple things to take away from this for me are that OOC win percentage collectively is really really effin important (as everyone knows), and that with a ranking of 9th the conference needs to improve.
