Hey Xavier fans,
As a VCU fan, I appreciate the welcome many of your fans have offered. With these new additions, the A-10 can undoubtedly claim to be the best non-BCS basketball conference in the country.
With as proud and accomplished a conference as the A-10 is, it seemed somewhat unsettling that there wasn't an online forum dedicated solely to A-10 hoops where all the fan bases can interact. A common hub if you will. With that in mind, www.A10Talk.com was launched today where there will be articles on the A-10 and its programs as well as fora for discussion.
I think it is high time that something like this was made available for fans of the conference and I hope you will all check it out and use it as a resource!
I look forward to competing against the Musketeers and helping to do our part in making the A-10 one of the best basketball conferences in America.

I totally respect that there are other places that are available. I do think it's a good thing for the A-10 to have a site solely dedicated to A-10 hoops and the more A-10 talk we can get going, the better!
I've seen Muddy Waters' work, and I sincerely hope he does not ever find A10Talk. Haha

In addition to Muddled, you'll have to contend with Squidlegs and the two other idiots whose handles escape me, but are also totally douchey Dayton fans.
You'll quickly learn that Dayton fans are a sad lot. Look at it this way, though VCU has enjoyed wonderful success in the Dance, UD fans will still believe UD has a better program than VCU because of UD Arena and crap that happened over 4 decades ago.
Just get used to it. Seriously, don't let them ruin your new site.

Did you guys check your spam?
I know some of the admins and I'll let them know.
This is not gonna be closed at all! We want it to be an open forum for A10 discussion :)

If you're talking about StealthBomber and Dupree Lucas, I'm not sure they're as much Dayton fans as they are riddled with penis envy of Xavier.

I'd heard that some VCU fans were taling about this board way back when the VCU to A10 rumours started to build steam. (From when I was lurking on the VCU, Geroge Mason, and Butler boards to see how this was playing out from the other side)
I'll be sure to head over and register. (And cross my fingers we might be able to have an A10 board that doesn't degenerate into a XU/ud warzone.)

Maybe it's a sign from God. I'm getting the following warning at the current A10 site whenever I try to post something there:
"www.basketballforum.com contains content from nakedcircus.net, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site."
Anyone else running into this problem?
Time for the new board.

man you must have just scooped up that domain. I owned that domain until a month or two ago. I let it expire because nobody ever visited the forum and because Charlotte is leaving for CUSA.

I'm happy you're joining. I've always enjoyed your posts.
I know Duquesne can be a force in this thing. I've been around long enough to know Duquesne when Norm Nixon was a part of it.
I enjoyed seeing the 10k+ at the new arena for the X v. DU game when the Dukes were putting together a good year.
Of course, everyone here that wore a snuggy for that one probably thinks you're a turd, but they don't remember any of that, for the most part.

To the VCU fans: Don't ask, it was a very sopmorish trip to the Palumbo Center to watch college hoops, that's all you need to know.

Andddd because of this I just signed up. When I'm on Xavierhoops, 99% of the time it's through my phone with Tapatalk. I'll give A10Talk a chance especially since I was able to sign up on my phone. I really like the idea of a clean forum where everyone from the A10 can come together and discuss. Good job guys.

I'll never forget Snuggie Night at The Palumbo.
It was a nice win for the Dukes, but I have to say watching the Snuggie Bunch walk in was a sight to behold. It's that kind of a fun stunt by fans that really adds to the enjoyment that is college basketball. Special props to the guy who had the X embroidered on his.
I see there are smiley faces with various X signs available to use. Too bad there isn't one of a smiley face wearing a Snuggie.

We haven't seen VCU play a single A10 conference contest yet, but their fans are already contributing more than the other schools, what with this new board.
