If you’re looking for something to do Saturday night and have at least $350 for a ticket, check out The Cincinnati ShakeUp for Parkinson’s (http://www.regonline.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=1066925). Proceeds from the evening benefit the Brian Grant Foundation and the University of Cincinnati’s Gardner Center for Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders.

The public is invited to the gala. A 6:30 p.m. celebrity red carpet and reception at Cintas Center is followed by the 7:30 p.m. dinner and program. The event features a speech by Xavier product and 12-year NBA veteran Grant and musical entertainment by Blessid Union of Souls, plus videos, speakers and a brief auction to support Parkinson’s disease patients and research. Nick Lachey and Brad Johansen will co-host the ShakeUp.
