They could double his salary. That's a lot of pizza pies.

2 mill wouldn't pay his life and health ins. premiums.

Yeah seriously. The dude complains about traveling to Philadephia...well you are going to be traveling more up and down the east coast. Oh and off to Florida.

I can't wait for that SMU/Georgetown battle.

I'm wondering if Majerus isn't exactly happy at SLU.

I also don't know how the SLU team travels, but its possible that they don't have the same travel budget (charter flights everywhere) that XU does. and that Big East money would change that situation at SMU.

Majerus leaving would be bad for SLU and the A-10, as much as I don't like the guy.

I have to think he is using this as leverage. No way he wants to walk into yet another rebuilding project. He will have to gut that roster just like he did when he got to SLU.

He's pulling a Matt Painter.

I wonder how many years of coaching he has left in him. With all his health issues, I thought he would retire after the season ended. But, 2 mill. is too good to ignore.

Majerus has apparently decided to stay at SLU

SMU is a great job. They average in the neighborhood of fifty, sometimes as much as sixty, fans a game. BW3s averages bigger crowds on Tuesday night, but not by much. And they have a longstanding basketball tradition that is unmatched.

If they charter all their flights, it's a no-brainer.

Now they are interviewing Larry Brown? Seriously? Great hire if you want a coach to flame out or leave after 2 seasons. The guy has had more coaching stops than watermelons humped by a certain UD player.
