For those that haven't been following this story, Howard decided to suspend its entire athletic department last week. That's all I really know. What in the world could possibly be going on to where you'd shut down everything??

Now it's back. The article said it had something to do with textbooks. Shutting an entire department down over textbooks, which is technically nothing more than a secondary violation if it happened as described in the article, is a huge overreaction. I think there is more to this. It is harder for schools with less resources to monitor everything, but still. Shutting everything down is just crazy.
