That is one ugly final four basketball floor.

Compared to recent years, the floor actually looks reasonable. I'm also pretty sure that players won't be slipping on the logos like they were in Atlantic City a couple of weeks ago.

I do find it interesting that the NCAA seems hellbent on having them play on an elevated court the past few years, though. It would have been one thing when you consider the logistics of playing at Ford Field, Lucas Oil Stadium or Reliant Stadium, but they've never had to play on an elevated floor in the Superdome until this season. It's like playing the Final 4 on Minnesota's home floor.

I'm sure someone will also suggest to the NCAA that the benches should be moved to the baseline, Vanderbilt-style. Now that would be something.

Louisville has a tough road against UK. If any team can do it they can with D down the stretch.

Louisville is severely offensively challenged.

This game is ugly. The floor is ugly too.

Still can't stand the moving overhead camera shots.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

Louisville only down 2. It's been ugly, but they are in this.

UK wins 69-61.

Best part of the game?

Steve Kerr calling Louisville "Syracuse" because of the "Cardinals" ridiculous orange uniforms.

Epic fail by Addidas. How about just supplying schools with their traditional school colors?

Louisville should have forfeited for being imposters.

THIS. (although I hate the phrase "epic fail")

Boo hoo Beaknose. Teach your players the rules.

Maybe sullinger can come back next year and decrease his draft position even more. What the hell.

Well, he won't have to deal with defensive studs like Jeff Withey every night in the NBA.

I don't think Sullinger wants any part of Anthony Davis. Sullinger had a tough game going against Withey. Davis would've abused Jared.

Sullinger is a very good college player, but I'm not sure how he translates to the NBA.

This year's NCAA = Lane Violation Tournament

Beaknose refuses to build depth and play his bench (see Walter Offutt- transfer) and it finally came back to bite him in the ass.

I kept wondering how many times will Pinoccio get bailed out of marginal to bad posesssions by a guy jacking and making a three. It finally stopped.

With the lack of subs, OSU shot 24% in the second half and their defense started failing as well.

Nose can recruit and he'll keep winning games, but I never see him winning the big one, even with all of his advantages.

I can't tell if this is a comment on Sullinger, Withey, or defense in the NBA.

Withey is a hell of a defender. 3.5 blocks in 24 minutes per game? The steal off the inbounds was pretty nifty too.

I've also seen doubts about Aaron Craft's ability to play in the NBA, but damn, that kid can make plays on the defensive end in college basketball. Bruce Pearl can take solace in the fact that Craft is worth losing your job over.

I have said on many occasions that referees do NOT lose basketball games, regular season or tournament, early game or late. Saturday night, March 31, 2012, I have good reason to change my beliefs on the subject. Those were the two worst officiated COLLEGE BASKETBALL games I have ever seen called. Were those guys imported from the NBA? They were all triple horse crap and I have no particular interest in either team. Hank Nichols ought to turn in his rating sheet as NCAA supervisor. If those guys were golfers they'd be sent back to the non-existent now QSchool. They were bad for both games, all four teams, and Sullinger and Davis ought to file assault charges.:confused:mad:

Did you get the feeling that CBS told the refs to correct that early foul call that they got so blatantly wrong? "Don't forget who's actually paying you..."

They said it wasn't reviewable. Huh? I watched many games where the refs have reviewed to get who the foul was on correct. They just make it up as they go.

Seen doubts? No chance craft plays in the NBA. Could do ok in Europe though.

I didn't think the refs were bad but I have to admit I was talking w/a friend throughout the second game and didn't pay as much attention as I normally would.

Louisville should have gotten flagrant foul for those awful uniforms. I am not sure this is being old school but how about using actual school colors when designing uniforms?
