I grew up in Louisville, and was a diehard Louisville fan. Not so much anymore, but I still hate Kentucky. I will say this, though the bitterness of this rivalry far exceeds anything else I've been around. That includes XU and UC, and Auburn and Alabama. I mean...you can't make this stuff up....

I think Auburn Alabama is worse. But Louisville/Kentucky is bad.

I think both schools' fans should be required to attend a mandatory reflection period before they can attend any more basketball games.

Uh, easy there fellah as this comes from a native Louisvillian- with all of his teeth including wisdoms.

New Orleans could be a problem. UofL fans, UK fans, hatred, Bourbon Street, Flaming Hurricanes, alcohol.

Get the picture?

So will B-Espn play up the fights and conflicts as being perpertrated by "gangstas" this weekend, or just excuse them as a part of a "colorful and historical" rivalry? Hmmmmmmm.

One of my lifelong goals is to attend a Celtic vs. Rangers match. I would, of course, dress in neutral colors.
