"It's a reality. When you earn the No. 2 seed in the NIT, your chances of your ability to advance are significantly increased when we play in front of our 13,000 people," Miller said. "The Big Ten is one of the toughest leagues in the country to win on the road."
I can't take it....Archie Miller talking about how Dayton earned their #2 seed.....so true, though. They earned it alright. Just funny stuff....

Ya know, if they were really a big time program, they wouldn't play the "it's a big ten team, they are better than us" read as "we got scared by the name on the front of the jersey" card.

Hey, don't downplay it. That makes ud one of the best 76 teams in the country! Too bad Archie and Sean won't end up playing against each other. I sat in front of Sean's dad in Cleveland last year versus Marquette. I said it seemed that AZ was pretty decent last year and the old man said just wait until next year, they'll be really good. Well, really good doesn't begin to describe either team that the vaunted elder Miller's sons coach.

Its really too bad that their fans are the most important part of their program, and their team can't win enough to keep playing for them.

Last night my wife and I watched the Notre Dame game at Applebee's. Around halftime four guys sat down behind us, and began talking loudly about the NCAA Tournament, their memories of past years, etc. Though incredibly uninformed, they did provide a good laugh when two of them went on and on for about 5 minutes about how annoying it was to sit by the Dayton Flyers fans in Minneapolis in 2009 when Dayton went to the second round. I mean, these guys were so stupid that they'd never heard of St. Louis, wrote off Xavier when they went down by 10 with 12 to go, didn't know where Temple was located, and had no clue who TU Holloway was. Yet, the one team they had a lot of unpleasant things to say about -- your Dayton Flyers:))

Until Xavier goes to the final four, this will be the face of the A10?
I'm a little surprised it wasn't the fight.
