Maybe they were just waiting for the calendar to turn to March. The Xavier Musketeers, mired in a funk for the past 2 months, got the win they needed to secure a spot in their seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament, besting St. Louis, 71-64, in the semi-finals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament. With the win, Xavier will play in their first A-10 final since 2006, which, ironically, is the last time before this season Xavier did not take the regular season crown.
