Jason is in the field this week. Tiger and Rory are in the field as well.

One of Jason's 2 wins last year was in FL, so hopefully, he views the FL swing as a great chance to have some good finishes.

Jason shots +1 today. He is T68 right now, but the course can be tough, and I am guessing he will move up a few slots before Friday's play. He certainly won't have much room for error tomorrow.

Currently tied with Tiger Woods. Remember when that was generally a good thing?

I heard them say today was "lift, clean and place." I dont' golf, but I think that refers to what you can do in a fairway with your ball. So, today would have been a good day (versus tomorrow if that's not going to be the norm) to have gotten under par.
Davis Love hanging in there for us older folks!

Shooting 70 today would be cutting it close. Going one under is probably safe.
Here's hoping for about 7 under.

Forget what I said above. Course record was -6, which Love equalled yesterday. A couple of -6's already today...and some guy named Harman went 9 under today.

-1 through 4 today to get to even for the Tournament. Pretty clear at this point that 1 over will be the cut line, so Jason has a stroke to play with.

-2 through 5 and -1 for the tournament.

Bogeyed 6 after hitting his first shot into the water. Back to E for the tournament.

He finishes with the "Bear Trap". It's going to be interesting.
I am really glad that we are following Jason. Most people have a tendency to follow what happens at the top, and they miss all of the excitement of the tournaments going on within the tournament. I am also following 3 guys I have played with. Heath Slocum is in at +1 and is safe. Micheal Bradley is E with 1 to play. Thomas (rhymes with "no mas") Bjorn (say B-yearn) is out at +4.

I think Jason is on 15, but they won't show him playing on the Golf channel. (If he's playing with Flores who they do show)

Birdied 16 to tie (among others) Mr. Woods.
Finished -1. Congrats to Jason on making another cut! 3 straight.

Guess he's paired with Brandt Jobe. Would have been interesting to be with Tiger. At least we would have gotten to see him.

Just saw a Cleveland Golf commercial with Jason in it. He's still E for the tournament.

Why did Jason at even, tee off earlier this morning that guys who were way over par?
I thought they teed off in order of standing on Sunday...last to first.

I believe those players teed off on 10 which means they would finish up on the front 9 while the top half of the field finishes on the back 9.
I wondered the same thing and that's the only thing I could come up with.

PGA expects bad weather in S FLA so they used threesomes and double tees to expedite play.
Extra windy conditions are driving every score higher, but Jason is hanging in there on pay day.

I suppose that makes Tiger's 62 all the more impressive.

After the Honda, Jason is 80th on the money list with $217,000 won so far.
Not a bad first 2 months on tour.

79th in FedEx Cup points, too. Would obviously be nice for him to make the playoffs in 5 months or so.

I am not sure what to make of the 62. Most of these guys can really light-it up if they get on a roll. He was solid for 3 days and had a great 4th round. Was he great, or was he good and caught a few breaks? No way he was trying to hit the ball right of the pin on 18. He was a few feet from disaster and a much less spectacular 65, but then again, he is one of the few people on the planet that could/would shoot at the pin on his second shot.
I would like to see Tiger do it more than once before I am convinced that he is back, but I am sure this finish will completely eliminate from his mind the Sunday drubbing that he took from Phil at Pebble Beach. He will have good Sunday vibes going for him in the next tourney.

I would think Tiger would know if he hit the ball where he intended.

Tiger's playing better. What he's not been doing that he was the first 15 years of his career is make putts consistently. He seemed to be able to will the ball into the hole and now he struggles like almost every other golfer on the planet. I'm never going to say he's "back", because I think we all witnessed something that we'll never see again for as long as we live. Tiger was absolutley was the most dominant golfer ever, regardless of generation. I still think he has 2-3 majors left in him, but the competition is so much better now than it was 10 years ago and Tiger is simply not the same golfer. It's fun to have him back and playing better. It makes for better entertainment.

He said he hit a cut into 18.
I mean he was 4 shots back of the lead when he hit that shot
Of course he was trying to hit it close.
So what if it landed right of the pin ?
It was a great shot.
