Cleveland State is 20-6.

Cleveland State just lost to Butler at home.

Cleveland State only scored 49 points against Butler in their loss at home.

Cleveland State has now lost two straight home games.

Gary Waters obviously has forgotten how to coach offense or defense.

Conclusion= Fire Gary Waters.

That seems logical to me, MOR.

Not trying to hijack the thread about CSU/BU, but since its about other games around the country today and I didn't want to add a new thread, I thought I would just post a couple of musings from watching some hoops today (something I rarely get to do other than X games).

Was channel surfing between WVU/Ville, Fordham/UD and the AT&T @ Pebble Beach.

I was pretty shocked at how bad the officiating was in both games. UD got homered pretty badly in NYC but managed to squeak one out. Home cooking isn't shocking...but the calls were blatantly bad against UD. What was shocking was how badly WVU got hosed by the officials on their home floor. In bounds play, right in front of the officials near the end of the game....Ville player goes over the back of a WVU player and knocks him down. Ref is standing right there....nothing. With the WVU player on the ground, Ville gets the steal, a layup and it helped seal the win for them. There were a lot of other non calls that went in Ville's favor as well. Just surprising to see @ WVU.

I'm starting to wonder if the refs are now focusing more on sportsmanship and smack talking and forgetting to actually ref the game.

ud didn't get homered on the lack of a "kick ball" at the end of the game versus Fordham. I can't believe I actually watched most of that game - I feel dumber now.

Yeah...that was one UD got. Don't remember many more. They called a travel on Kavanaugh when he got the caught the ball and threw it in one movement before going out of bounds. That one was really bad....until they called a travel on Chris Johnson when he was in mid air getting a rebound and didn't have complete control of the ball.

Maybe the refs are finanally tired of BeelzeBob's act and are looking to stick him at every opportunity.

Way overdue.

By the way.

Great game on B-ESPNU with GW and Richmond @ Richmond. Full building and good basketball.

If that was a Big Least gane Andy Katz would be slobbering all over his Twitter timeline.

GW now has a season sweep over Richmond. The Spiders are suddenly creeping up towards the A-10 Tournament bubble, although there's little chance that they'll fall below Fordham and URI.

La Salle's carriage is becoming more pumpkinlike by the day. Which also brings us to another comedy gold webpage:

It's like reading a La Salle version of Swampy Meadows with a hard-on for Reggie Greenwood.

If Gary Waters is available, maybe we should make a call...

(just kidding...mostly)

I'm too lazy to look it up, but I thought all the teams made the conference tournament?

Top 12. Bottom two are out. Looks like Fordham and URI are the likely losers.

How does Jim Baron still have a job and why would his sons want to play at the crappy program?
