We went over .500 yesterday. Style points be damned, I will take every road win I can get.

Take away the neutral court debacle in Hawaii, and our true road record right now is 5-2, (71%) heading into Memphis.

Road Warriors!

Memphis is better than your garden-variety middle of the pack SEC team, although they're more invincible at home than teams like LSU, Florida and Georgia are. Murray State is the only team that broke serve on Memphis's home floor, and they're going to be a hungry team after losing to Southern Miss last night.

It'll be the biggest crowd Xavier sees all year long, but not hostile like UD Arena was.

I think it'll be pretty hostile. Memphis crowds are rather enthusiastic.

A win there would be epic. I like our chances.

They don't rebound well and they don't have a face-up 4 that can shoot the three. I like our chances as well.

Just can't give them open looks. They are WAY too good a shooting team to give them open looks.

This is why I'm not loving our chances right now. People are shooting a ridiculous percentage from behind the arc against us lately. For this game, we need to get back to the perimeter defense that had us tops in the A-10 in 3 point FG % defense prior to the last few games.
