83-73 at home, and hold your breath but Rhode Island is up on Massachusetts in overtime right now!

Gees, that's a real shame.

From a look at the box score, Duquesne shot lights-out like Rhody did. Hit 12 threes and 51.7% from the floor. UD didn't shoot badly but not nearly well enough to win.

Rhode Island pulls out the victory against UMASS. Things are shaping up well for Xavier as long as we keep winning.

I love when the good guys win (or escape like tonight!) and the bad guys lose!

Now St. louis needs to lose but I think they pull away at the end

St Bonaventure would move to 6-2 with a win over St. Louis...I don't want that, Go Bilikens

SLU is up 54-51 with 10 to go in the 2nd half.

Bonnies blasted at the end.

The Flaccid Flyers just can't get it up anymore.

Someone knock off LaSuck, please- and methinks that they will. 9 games left, 4 at home including Temple. That will be a tall order not to lose at least 2.

Dayton plays @SLU in their next game. I am rooting for them. SLU looks good and their schedule looks favorable.

Dayton could be looking at 4 straight losses real quick. From 4-1 to 4-5. I have seen this collapse before. It has to suck to be a Dayton fan.

Surprise, UMass actually sucks!

OK, I'm not actually surprised.

Did you happen to see the box score? Nicholson played 10 min, had 2 points, and 5 fouls. I'm surprised the game was even close at half.

Eh, I don't know. They probably just took Rhody too lightly on the road and lost to a team that has played well its last 3 games. I know I'm afraid of that game X has in Amherst in a few weeks. Hopefully the Muskies will be playing much better by then.

Two fouls in the first minute of the game.

Reminds me of X getting creamed at UD a few years back when Love suffered a similar fate.

UMess is coached by Derek Kellogg.

Enough said.,

I think it was both Love and Frease. I don't think the game had lasted 15 seconds when the whistled a ticky-tack foul on Kenny near the free-throw line. Both of those guys had 2 fouls by the 15 min mark in the first half. It almost felt like the refs had it in for them. Or Brian Gregory prepped them to look for things Love and Frease were doing.

It's logjammed. Nine teams are seperated by two games, and we're at the halfway point.

La Salle is in first place. Saint Bonaventure is just a game behind them.

It might be time to start stocking up on canned goods. The Mayans did say something about 2012. This may be a sign.

Could a 10-6 team win this damn league ?

I think it's going to be whoever can get to 11 wins.

I don't think Temple is gonna lose 3 more times. Two tops.

They have 9 games left with 5 on the road. @ LaSalle and @ St Joe's look to be their toughest tests away from home.

They have X and UMass at home and wouldnt be surprised to see a L in one of those two games.

I think they lose at least 2 and likely 3-4.

We'll see how Temple does Saturday against a dangerous URI team on the road come Saturday. Temple has been the most consistent team in the A-10 since their loss at Richmond.

Xavier's home game against URI is going to be like walking across hot coal in your bare feet.

Chill Dayton sucks

This. It is 9 am on February 3, 2012.....and dayton still sucks.

It must feel like living in the movie Groundhog Day to be a dayton fan. As sure as tomorrow will come, dayton will endure an epic meltdown when Februrary begins.

And, udump still blows.

Another game....another loss by the flaccid flyers.

After their incestual orgy against XU they are 0-4. Two were bad losses at home.
