Here's a little background on the gray, err, "PLATINUM" jerseys that have been making rounds lately, notably Purdue a couple of nights ago:

Even Syracuse, Duke and Kentucky will be getting in on the act soon.
If it's true that Xavier will be a part of the "Hyper Elite" next season, don't expect the gray jerseys to go by the wayside anytime soon. Another chore would be trying to make out the artwork on the back of the unis.

Where did you see that? I read that these Hyper Elite uniforms were only for teams that had won national championships.

Those were just gray uniforms for Purdue. They are not part of the Platinum ones.
The only schools getting them are Syracuse, Connecticut men and women, North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, Florida Gators, Arizona, and Baylor women.

Gonzaga is also part of the Hyper Elite - I'm pretty sure they haven't won a national title yet.

Nike is right next to Adam Sandler on my list of things that need to be stopped.

Couldn't rep but yes.
Nike at least makes good products. And while you may not like the look of these platinum jerseys, the technology used is so much better for the athletes. One aspect is a fused seam and not stitching that would rub on a person's body (no homo).
