The A-10 is strong this year, but there is a void at the top. I think Xavier will be back to receiving a healthy number of votes with two wins this week, but in the meantime it's sad to look at the polls.

Let's hope that we get those two wins, there's just nothing deserving votes, if Temple didn't start off so rough they could be, same with St. Louis.

Temple just got blasted at Richmond and lost at home to Dayton and has also lost to Bowling Green. They don't deserve to be considered just because they happened to beat Duke. Dayton is probably the school who should be getting votes right now. The A-10 does have 6 wins over the top 36 of the polls, not that it means anything though. How Louisville is still ranked is a bit of a head scratcher.

Marquette is beating them to death, so that won't be the case shortly.

At the same time, every team in the Top 25 has 4 losses or fewer at the moment. In the A-10, I think only UMass can make that claim at the moment.
