Every team in the A-10 has at least one loss except for LaSalle.
LaSalle plays at Dayton tomorrow.
I feel like I should root for Dayton, but every time I think that I feel like I need a shower.
Is it okay to root for them in this case, or is it, as I feel it might be, NEVER okay to root for Dayton?
Should I just rely on the fact that LaSalle will revert to being Lasalle and lose 5 or 6 games?
Help.

Trust me Lasalle has as much talent as anyone in the league. They are long and quick and can all shoot it. There is a reason they beat Xavier and a reason they have won 11 of 12. They will not lose 5 or 6 conference games. I am also rooting for them against Dayton.

So, if LaSalle is that talented and is above us in the standings, I should still root for them because it's Dayton they are playing? This sounds like the right thing to so, but it's hard to root for a team that is above us in the standings.....even if it is early.....
I do hate Dayton, though..
It's La Salle's third game of the conference season. I seriously doubt their game at UD on January 14 is going to play a major role in the conference standings by the conclusion of conference play. They may be 2-0 now, but it's La Salle. They're good for 7-8 more losses.
Honestly, I think UD wins this one going away, and the Flyers are the bigger threat in conference play. The Explorers played well against us (thanks mostly to a very tepid effort), but overall I am unimpressed by them.

Problem solved.
I can't bring myself to root for Dayton. I just can't.
Go LaSalle.

I'd like a little side bet with you:
1. LaSalle isn't losing 7-8 conference games. I think the most they lose is 5.
2. I think tomorrow's game will be close.
Never, ever root for Dayton. Never. If we go 15-1 it doesn't matter that LaSalle does. They won't go 15-1.

Root against LaSalle the rest of the way.
Against Dayton 8 days a week, unless they are playing OOC.
If it came down to the last week of the season, LaSalle and X tied and the Criers far down in the standings - THEN you root for Dayton and shower with 00-steel wool.

LaSalle will become LaSalle soon enough. They'll struggle on the road and lose a couple 2-3 at home. Go LaSalle.

I may have been exaggerating with the 7-8 losses. My point was that if we're already rooting for conference standings, I don't think La Salle is a team you need to pull for to lose. After everything shakes out, I think UD will be more of a player than the Explorers.

If we go 15-1 and LaSalle goes 16-0 then they freaking deserve the crown for a year.
I'd love to see how we play in the A-10 tournament as the 2 seed with a 16 game winning streak under our belt. We'd have something to play for.

LaSuck will revert.
Teams that rely on 3's die at year end because the legs go away.
Trust me, they'll be 8th by March 1, but root for them tomorrow.
