Gotta give Lasalle some props. They beat Penn tonight by 11 and have won 11 of 12. 10 of those 11 wins have come by 10 or more points and the other game they beat UMASS by 7 after leading by 25 at the half. Early on Lasalle lost close games to Nova and Pitt and they did not have Galloway for those games and in my opinion he is their best player. The Doctor may have something this year and they will be a major factor in the A-10.

With that kind of success, maybe they'll draw more than 1000 for their home games.

"It was the officials' fault" (http://lasalle-explorers.com/)
Wow. With recaps like this one, the A-10 needs to step in and make sure that Dayton and La Salle play each other twice a week. No matter who wins, the officials are going to get bitch-slapped.
I'm sure it had nothing to do with Matt Kavanaugh dominating the Explorers' lack of a frontcourt. Just imagine how good Kurt Huelsman and Jimmy Binnie could have been under Kid Yuma's tutelage.

Is that LaSalle's official web-site? It looks like it came straight from the early 90's! I think it is hosted by geo cities too.

I think that everything on there is posted via 28k dial up.

I was impressed with La Salle. The four guard offense is tough to defend, and they can flat shoot. But they will be severely hampered by the gaping hole in the post. Kavanaugh and Gavrilovic aren't great, but they are improving, and if you give them an inch, they'll score. They just abused La Salle inside. Combined for 32 points.
Good to see them on the upswing, though. Hope they win enough to get into the NIT.
